Bottom labelling without turning over the product
Labels are applied from below while packages continue through the line in their normal conveying orientation. This helps maintain front-facing graphics and reduces manual handling.
With an optional weighing module, weight data can be included alongside date, batch and barcode fields.
Keep primary graphics or clear windows unobstructed.
Reduce manual bottom labelling and pack handling.
Print product-specific data immediately before applying.
Link packaging, conveying, weighing and inspection.
Bottom print and apply workflow
Dynamic weighing is optional.
* Requires an additional weighing module.
Typical packaging applications
Bottom labels with date and batch information.
Connect to tray-sealing and packaging lines.
Weight-based information when weighing is equipped.
Suitability confirmed through samples.

Integration into packaging lines
Connect the labelling unit to upstream packing, spacing, optional dynamic weighing and downstream inspection or cartoning.
- Provide pack dimensions, weight and bottom structure.
- Specify target rate, product gap and conveyor height.
- Provide label dimensions, materials, roll orientation and artwork.
- Define variable fields and any PLC/MES/ERP interface.

Frequently asked questions
Does bottom labelling require product flipping?
No, it applies labels from underneath suitable flat-bottom packs during conveying.
Can it be combined with dynamic weighing?
Yes, as an optional configuration. Weight data may then be printed on the label.
What is the maximum line speed?
Approximately 50 packs/min is the reference maximum. Actual performance depends on product dimensions, gap and labels.
